Re: [xsl] What implementations of XPath 3.0 exist at present?

Concerning the role which in my opinion Saxon plays for the discovery and adoption of XML technology, one more remark. I find the EXPath File Module extremely important for creating standalone XQuery tools. It would be phantastic if SaxonHE might support the File Module.

I do understand such requirements. However, the reason we are able to invest in continued development of Saxon is precisely because we've successfully identified a few features that are sufficiently valuable to a sufficient number of people that they are prepared to pay some money for them. It's a fine balance.

I wish we could find a similar formula that would generate some investment into Saxon-CE. It's lagging behind, purely because there is no money coming in to fund further development.
