FBP is interesting, 

which is why xproc is so interesting as well (I would say that)

we just spent the better part of last week hacking out requirements for v2 which fixes most of the issues in v1


we are hopeful v2 will result in dramatically better usability and applicability as you will be able to use it with non-xml data as well.

The modern reincarnation of JSP is the Design Recipe. Spending time thinking about a problem, it's data structures and any relevant algorithms before diving in and writing code. What a novel concept.

If only they had called it Thought Driven Design it might just have caught on.

I'd recommend FBP ( https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/flow-based-programming) to all folks interested in data structure/data flow approaches, especially pipelines.

FBP is attracting an interesting degree of buzz at present.
