I suppose its a xml-thing. Like some things are girl-things and boys can't understand it. This is a xml-thing. Webmasters remain sanity only because the push to make browsers adopt CSS2 and the decision of browser makers to "force" upgrades on users, and adopt standards very quick. After long battles against horrible fubared Internet Explorer bugs, standards are like the Hero, the savior that help us from having to use anything like IE6, and give us sweet syntax sugar, fun features, and more. Or so I think. Maybe its unfair to characterize webmaster this way, and maybe a group of xml heroist think the same way as Simon. What I am really trying to say is that we love standards, to convince us of a better idea than standards, that alternate idea must be spelled out like explained to a 5 years old. HTML5 seems healthy to me. I was more a XHML fan, but I trought HTML5 has win, and its more the future (Not for people in this list, maybe, that can still write in XHTML and be rewarded by xml features, and stuff ). -- -- â±in del â³ensaje.
