The CAM Editor sounds like a nice tool to have in one's toolbox. I would also like to observe that part 14 of the SQL standard (ISO/IEC 9075-14:2011), named "SQL/XML", provides fully standardized mechanisms for storing XML in SQL databases, querying the XML directly in an SQL database, and generating XML from the SQL data and/or from the results of querying the XML in the database. Several SQL database systems have implemented most or all of SQL/XML. Of course, SQL/XML does not substitute for a tool such as the CAM Editor (in particular, it does not specify any visual editing facilities), but it does provide yet another tool for one's toolbox. Hope this helps, Jim At 10/10/2012 09:23 AM, w3c@drrw.info wrote: The perennial question for people is how to easily generate XML from SQL table content?
