Please read on if you have an interest in Model-driven
XML Vocabulary design using OASIS UBL NDR (MXV).
MXV is a portable design solution for deriving an OASIS UBL
NDR-like XML Schema Library from a custom UML data model.
MXV is successfully being deployed since 2007 by the New
Zealand Ministry of Education (mostly G2G).
In addition to the MXV slides shared on this list last
December (http://lists.xml.org/archives/xml-dev/200912/msg00000.html),
Data Management Solutions is pleased to now also share the updated and narrated
MXV Demo Video.
The video (60 mins long) presents MXV in detail, covering
navigable chapters:
-
Interoperability concepts and terminology
-
When to use MXV
-
What is MXV
-
MXV building blocks
-
A screen-captured change iteration from UML to XML (The
administrator’s perspective and improved tool suite)
-
MXV Summary
-

The free MXV Demo Video is available at http://www.d-m-s.co.nz/Download_Demo.htm
(90MB, zipped Flash files)
Your feedback and questions are most welcome.
