EDA is a powerful tool designed to ensure the architecture created is standardized, readily reusable, and interoperable at both enterprise and industry levels. The computer-aided environment in EDA also assists non-technical analysts, who may not have extensive knowledge of modeling methodology to model business requirements easily. Based on international best practices of Enterprise Information Architecture design and modeling, EDA produces an Enterprise Information Architecture that can be seamlessly translated into XML Schema, providing a framework for enterprise systems to convert standard business data into XML format. With this framework, data interoperability problems can be solved.
