Hi Jim: The way the request was put to me, it was a general query that was not particularly targeted to XML documents. I appreciate the reply. len -----Original Message----- From: Jim Melton [mailto:jim.melton@a...] Sent: Friday, May 19, 2006 3:22 AM To: Bullard, Claude L (Len) Cc: xml-dev@l... Subject: Re: Query Format in XML Claude, I suspect that you are already aware of XQueryX, one of the specifications published as part of the XQuery/XPath suite of documents. XQueryX is an XML syntax for XQuery, making it generatable and manipulatable like XSLT is. In fairness, I must point out that XQueryX is an XML syntax that closely echoes the BNF parse tree for XQuery. Is this the sort of thing you wanted to find? I suspect that some future version of XQueryX will include an XML syntax that is more closely related to the semantic concepts of XQuery instead of merely the syntactic ones. Hope this helps, Jim At 5/18/2006 12:06 PM, Bullard, Claude L \(Len\) wrote: >Has anyone published or is working on a query format in XML?
