No, but you seem to be the only one who doesn't understand you can write a slow program in any language; it's not the language's fault. To make the case that there's something about XSLT that forces you to write stylesheets that are inefficient, you need to actually point to XSLT features that are a) the only way to get something done and b) intrinsically inefficient. Waving O(N^2) about doesn't do it. Bob
