So, you are safe by picking whatever QNames you want! (Just avoid using "xml" for a prefix, in case your QNames ever get serialized into textual XML, --- "xml", and other prefixes starting with "xml", are reserved by the Namespaces Rec for future W3C-sanctioned use.)
