i use vi, and my own somewhat pedantic approach to layout etc....

but then a lot of my xml gets generated by my report generators so i
need something that can edit the report formats and embed xml at the
same time....

ps but then i don't mind having to fight and learn the intricacies of
xsl, dtd's etc
