Thanks, Ken -- it's good to know that you're following this up.  I
think it will be good for us to have more information before anyone
goes on the attack against ISO.

The issue is very relevant to this forum not only because a lot of us
use the language and country codes in our work, but because XML itself
acknowledges its dependence on an ISO standard.
