If I may quote your definition, "XUL (XML UI Language)".   It looks even
simpler than my "oversimplification".

We XUL developers are having a hard enough time already explaining to people
what XUL is, the last thing we need is someone coming out and spreading more
confusions.

I am not against XUL outside of Mozilla at all.  I would love to see many
implementations
of XUL.  But they have to be XUL.  Just pick whatever you feel convenient
("some mozilla goodies")
doesn't cut it.  Can you pick some "java goodies" and implement a jvm that
does not run java as
understood by most people?  You need to understand what standard means what
conformance
can do to a technology.

If you have go around every xml related list to spread confusion about XUL,
you can
count on clarifications following every one of your messages.
