You bet me to that, actually I was thinking about "something that doesn't
have a URI" :-))

In any case the reason I've entered this thread at this time is that there
are a couple of new WD which are relevent to this topic, both the RDF and
OWL semantics/model theories and there appears enough interest in these
topics that I am trying to encourage folks to have a look at how they might
help work through some issues that many folks have with URIs.
