what he said was they will not continue development the COM-based SOAP
Toolkit, which can be used from pre-NET applications. Going forward all SOAP
related implementations at Microsoft are going to be implemented as managed
classes, i.e. in .NET.

Didier,

Did I hear right (in the VSLIVE video) - is Microsoft essentially abandoning
SOAP in favor of other technologies in .NET?

resource on where Microsoft is going with XML.  It answered so many

For the curious fellows interested to know what the Redmond 800 pound
gorilla views as a future and the role of XML in it, Check the video

mind that the API presented in this video is a client side API used to
interface with data (structured and semi-structured).

Note: It doesnâ??t mean that I am supporting their view but since they play a
