I can't agree with this.  I have no problems as long as there is no deception 
as to pricing.

The decoding is easy:

* If the announcement says "free" or "open source", then I know the score
* If the announcement says "dree demo", then I know the score
* If the announcement says nothing about pricing and license, then I merely 
assume that it is outrageously expensive, with a punitive license

They may not be best served by these responses of mine, but it's their 
prerogative to communicate what they want about pricing, and mine to interpret 
what I want about pricing.
