Just to be annoying, in RNG that would be:

start = element foo {
	(attribute a {...}?,
	attribute b {...}?,
	...
	attribute xsi:type {xsd:anyURI}),
	(string | any)
	}

any = element * {any* & attribute * {text}* & text}
