I think that, with or without Steve's inspiration, Paul Prescod and Eliot Kimber have always been happy to point out which problems under discussion can be solved by groves, as they each did several time at Extreme. In fact, in my trip report to my boss after the conference, I mentioned that groves seemed to be coming back from the dead.
