Dear Pat You need to parse the file with a validating parser - such as MSXML (included in Internet Explorer) or Xerces - which will check the file against the DTD. You should find this link is a good starting point: http://www.w3schools.com/dtd/dtd_validation.asp Do you have a preferred parser, programming language or platform?
