AElfred2 Native Pascal Parser (based on AElfred2 Java) reports "Document" for both localName and QName. > 3. If you participated in the original specification of SAX2 back in > 1999/2000 what were you thinking about this then? I didn't-- but I did/do participate in the SAX for Pascal group and I would surmise that the understanding was that localName was provided in either case. Also tested: ======== MSXML3 (haven't tested 4) reports "Document" for both localName and QName. AElfred2 Java reports "Document" for both localName and QName. Keith Wood's Native Pascal Parser reports "Document" for both localName and QName. HTH, Jeff Rafter Defined Systems http://www.defined.net XML Development and Developer Web Hosting
