I agree with that. The politics of altruism are local. Some locales are larger than others. In my experience, good things come of trying to solve specific problems in a general way. Again, RNG could thrive if it can be shown is solves specific problems in a general way. The opportunity to sell schema authoring tools is limited to a small subset of XML designers who have to create these.
