I hope so, but again, there are issues here. We tend to think like programmers and that is reflected in the architecting of XML possibly to its detriment in some cases. A program editor for HTML-like code and one for real time graphics need different editing interfaces. XML is Just Syntax and the editing application is one place that is demonstrated almost painfully, but to serve in the role of a metalanguage, necessarily.
