Server.Createobject giving Catastrophic failure message

Hi all,
Am using customised XMLDOM.dll
able to get it successfully regsitered
but
when giving command in global.asa
Set
Application("XMLDOM")=Server.CreateObject("XMLDOM.XMLAbstract")
displays error as follows
in IIS
catastrophic failure
and under PWS as
trapped error
any helping hand on this will be more
appreciated
remember other dll which i registered, am able
to use under global.asa but
only above mentioned XMLDOM.dll giving
problems
