The URL to the perl script is http://www.w3.org/2000/04/schema_hack/. As for the 'but', I didn't want to degrade perl as a language. Perl is indeed a great solution for dealing with text but the fact is that I need java not perl code. Still, does anybody know if a perl script can be executed from java? -----Original Message----- From: Dave Beckett [mailto:dave.beckett@b...] Sent: Tuesday, March 13, 2001 1:38 PM To: Giota Karadimitriou Subject: Re: How to execute a perl script in Java? >>>Giota Karadimitriou said: > Hello, > > I have been searching for a DTD to W3C Xml Schema Converter and I found a > satisfactory tool > but it's a perl script (dtd2xsd.pl). <snip/> I don't know about the 'but' - perl is a great solution for dealing with text, unlike Java. However, if you are mentioning something like this on a public list, give the URL! I for one am interested in such a tool since XSD is very complex and difficult to understand. Dave
