The smartest thing I ever heard a programmer say about his new manager when asked how things were going: "Ok, I guess. In another six months we should have him trained and then he will begin to do useful work." How smart is Bob? Well he knows about round tripping. That means he knows he may have to go tell his manager about that problem with an incomplete and overly simple specification. Or make sure the contract language is well-weaseled. In either case, he is not a simple guy and he has several not so simple problems. Len http://www.mp3.com/LenBullard Ekam sat.h, Vipraah bahudhaa vadanti. Daamyata. Datta. All Bobs manager knows is that valid XML comes in, some local processing should happen and then XML should go out. Thats all the contracts say:-)
