In particular the RDF definition of a typed node associates the type of an element to the URI formed by concatenating the element name to the namespace URI. This works fine when RDF namespace URIs end in '#' as is recommended ... in this case the URI reference may point to a type definition (e.g. an rdfs:Class or rdfs:Property derived type). I have suggested that when namespace URIs end in other than a Letter or '_' that an '#' be inserted between the namespaceURI and element name to form a URI reference defining the type (see http://www.openhealth.org/RDF/QNameToURI.htm ) Jonathan Borden The Open Healthcare Group http://www.openhealth.org
