I haven't had any abuse from true believers in CORBA since June, and I've spoken on it several times since then, even to CORBA-folk. The relational database issue seems to be settling nicely, as vendors of RDBMS software are adding XML features and as XML starts talking about data typing and other features that help RDBMS folk.
