RE: SAX newbie Q : absolute DTD path in system id

xml dtd path
OK, when I have "file:///c:/xml/dtd/foo.dtd" as my system id, it works, but
using a standard dos path as a system id is valid with my editor and my XML
content repository and I understand this works with some parser/SAX
combinations. Is the behavior I'm seeing unique to XP?

Thanks for your help!
