[XML-DEV Mailing List Archive Home] [By Thread] [By Date] [Recent Entries] [Reply To This Message] (explain .PEN extension)
Christina Portillo has asked me to clarify what the .PEN extension is, as used in the XML versions of the ISO entities. It is just short for parameter entity, and could just as easily be .txt or .sgm or .ent. I think Panorama uses .pen. It is just minimum data text: ASCII. It is a lovely and apt extension, whoever thought of it.
