Release Notes for Stylus Studio® X16 XML Enterprise Edition

This document contains information specific to the current release of Stylus Studio® 2009 XML, Build 1291i, as well as all previously released 1291 builds. Consult the Stylus Studio Release Notes that are part of the Stylus Studio 2009 XML installation package for other important information.

Bug Fixes

Stylus Studio® 2009 XML Build 1291i includes fixes for the following known bugs:

  • DataDirect XML Converters
    • You can now deploy XML Converters in the Sonic Directory Service.
    • XML Converters files are now unpacked correctly when installed on machines using EBCDIC encoding.
    • Descriptions were not included for composite names that were redefined in .SEF files.
    • GROUP_ numbers were skipped in IATA INVOIC message types.
    • The HL7 dialect repository contained incorrect message definitions.
  • EDI to XML Editor
    • Stylus Studio would sometimes crash when two errors were identified in the same location in an EDI file.
    • The Quick Fix for error 11 (invalid dates and times) was changed from auto=none to auto=never. (The auto= property automatically calculates values where possible.)
    • The X12 repository was not always unpacked successfully during the Stylus Studio installation.
  • XML PublisherNumber formatting defined using the Decimal Format tab on the XML Publisher editor Properties window did not always return correct results.
  • XML EditorThe built-in XML Schema validator could run out of memory processing certain XML Schema.
