Release Notes for Stylus Studio® X16 XML Enterprise Edition Release 2

This document contains information specific to the current release of Stylus Studio® 2009 XML Release 2, Build 1386e, as well as all previously released 1386 builds. Consult the Stylus Studio Release Notes that are part of the Stylus Studio 2009 XML Release 2 installation package for other important information.

Bug Fixes

Stylus Studio® 2009 XML Release 2 Build 1386e includes fixes for the following known bugs:

  • DataDirect XML Converters
    • For NCPDP XML conversions, the repeat symbol is now automatically written to the UNA segment, allowing unlimited component elements in composite elements.
    • The X12 XML Converter now handles 7-character time lengths (HH:MM:SS.F, for example).
  • XQuery
    • Stylus Studio bundles the latest release of DataDirect XQuery 4.0, which includes numerous fixes. See fixes.txt in the /Components/DataDirect XQuery directory where you installed Stylus Studio for more information.
    • An XQuery using a SQL Server database resource would not run if the connection was established using SQL Server's Integrated Security feature.
    • XQuery Mapper did not always correctly render the glyphs used to represent user-defined functions.
  • XML SchemaUsing the Edit > Indent XML Tag command in the XML Schema Diagram could cause Stylus Studio to crash.
  • Registering File TypesFile types registered with Stylus Studio (Tools > Options > General > File Types) did not always open in Stylus Studio.
