I've been reading the O'Reilly book XSLT Cookbook and been applying some of the examples to my project. What I want to do is create a csv file from XML like this:<br>

<PhaseAbbreviation>CND BRJ EMT 1/2-1</PhaseAbbreviation><br>
<PhaseSubRef>2</PhaseSubRef><br>
<MaterialDollars>14277.99</MaterialDollars><br>
<MaterialCount>20826</MaterialCount><br>
<LaborHours>1247.53</LaborHours><br>
<LaborDollars>27104.06</LaborDollars><br>
<EquipmentHours>0</EquipmentHours><br>
<EquipmentDollars>0</EquipmentDollars><br>
<SubContractDollars>0</SubContractDollars><br>

The problem is the quotes in the text of the PhaseDescription.<br>
I want to remove the qoutes. Also the output file has blank<br>
lines between the rows and I want ot get rid of them also.<br>
<br>
Attached is my xslt files. Untitled2.xslt imports the other
 generic-elem-to-csv.zip
