Removing tag using xslt ?

Portion of my xsd file --
<xs:element name="Emp" sql:key-fields="ID">
<xs:complexType>
<xs:sequence>
<xs:element name="ID" sql:relation="Emp" sql:field="ID" sql atatype="int">
<xs:simpleType>
<xs:restriction base="xs:integer">
<xs:maxInclusive value="2147483647"/>
<xs:minInclusive value="-2147483648"/>
</xs:restriction>
</xs:simpleType>
</xs:element>
<xs:element name="Name" sql:field="TYPE" sql atatype="int">
<xs:simpleType>
<xs:restriction base="xs:integer">
<xs:maxInclusive value="2147483647"/>
<xs:minInclusive value="-2147483648"/>
</xs:restriction>
</xs:simpleType>
</xs:element>
<xs:complexType>
<xs:element name>
I want to get rid of all the tags including it's innner tag/ contents for <xs:simpleType>.
The document has very complicated structure.
All I want to have in converted document is everything else as is except <xs:simpleType> tag.
Can I do this using xslt? Or parsing the document is my only option?
Thanks!
