Author: Nad ine

Hi,

I'm trying to load xml file. At the moment, i'd managed
to load a single xml file by using the below written code.
But there problem is, I have 50 of diffrent xml files which stored
inside a folder in my pc and need to be load automatically.
Is it possible? Really help any guidance or advice.
A Big Thank You in advanced!

<html>
<body>
<script language="javascript">
// Load XML
var xml = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLDOM")
xml.async = false
xml.load("test.xml")

// Load the XSL
var xsl = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLDOM")
xsl.async = false
xsl.load("test.xsl")

// Transform
document.write(xml.transformNode(xsl))
</script>

</body>
</html>

Assuming you have several files with a similar name test1.xml, test2.xml, etc
You could use the filesystem object

<html>
<body>
<script language="javascript">

// Load XML
var xml = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLDOM")
xml.async = false

// Load the XSL
var xsl = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLDOM")
xsl.async = false
xsl.load("test.xsl")

var fso, folder, xmldocument, s;
fso = ActiveXObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
folder = fso.GetFolder("c:\myfolder\*.xml");

for (folder.Files in fc){
xml.load(xmldocument.Path);
document.write(xml.transformNode(xsl));
}

</script>

</body>
</html>

hi sorry ivan. Still couldn't display anything.
All my xml files does not have "<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO8859-1" ?>" at the top.
Is it the cause of problem?
I've tried to test with and without the code, but still failed.
Also, i had tried to apply your code, by still no good result.
It looks like processing something, but just display empty web page at the end.
Please help me.
Really appreciate your guidance and assistance.
