I have an xml file with the tag:

CDATA[
Some text

]

I would like to remove all the html tags from the content with an xsl.
Now to show the content, i use symply:

<xsl:value-of select="body" disable-output-escaping="yes"/>

any idea?
Thanks in advance
Antonio

Antonio

Assuming the input document is well formed XML

Some text

Anything is inside the CDATA block it is not mark-up, but just text
and XSLT doesn't have lot of power to deal with raw text.

If the CDATA content is always between the first (div) and the second element (br)
you could do somenthing like that

<xsl:value-of select="substring-before(substring-after(body, '>'), '<')"/>

Fragile but could work in your case.

Thank you Ivan...

Unfortunately the content of
tag is not the same everytime.
Is it not possible to make scan all the cdata content (for every singol character) to find < and >
and put for example the sign of comment before and after, such as

Thank you!
Antonio
