Jorelia AndreSubject: Suggestion for GUI interface
Author: Jorelia Andre

Bonjour Stylus Studio Team,

It is some suggestions for you software :

1)Actually have a huge DTD with a lot of comments inside. When we use tree view to see the DTD all elements appear but we don't necessary want to see all elements of any king. So my suggestion, to be more friendly while displaying the DTD in tree view is to have a filter to mask temporally some element as Comment, etc...

2) Other suggestion is to allow to show the expanded form of the DTD instead of to have a short cut to see the child element's definition. So is about to have an in line form of the DTD to generate a complete graph of it

3) Other suggestion is to have sort functionality for DTD. by kind and by name, etc. in the tree view.

4) Other suggestion is to have a find functionality in the tree view.

Well, it's all for the moment.

Jorelia

We already have the capability to toggle the display of whitespace and
entity references; we will add toggle commands for comments and PIs too.

Suggestion noted.

Do you mean just for viewing or you want to have the underlying text sorted
accordingly?

>4) Other suggestion is to have a find functionality in the tree view.

This is already available (for sure in the 4.0 Beta version) through the
Edit | Find command.

Thanks for your feedback,

I mean for viewing because sometimes we want to focus for a specific tag or to find / print all tags in specific order, etc... especially when the DTD will be in expanded view (no short-cut)
