Each region has its own field and row properties. In addition, some properties apply only to line-oriented regions. These properties are marked with an asterisk.

The name you want to use for field elements in the XML output. The default value is field.

The name you want to use for sub-fields detected by Stylus Studio (based on the Field Component Separator character) in the XML output. The default value is component.

Map between EDIFACT and X12

Anything can be mapped to anything: EDIFACT to X12 or vice-versa, either to XML, and any of those to flat files or other formats. Both the XSLT and XQuery mappers can help bridge complex formats with ease.
