Try this:



<xsl:template match="*[not(*)][parent::adrRecord]">



When you stack predicates (the [b&] thingies), they become AND conditions
because each filters the sequence as evaluation processes the predicates in
rightward order.



These might also work (not tested):



<xsl:template match="*[not(*) and local-name(..)='adrRecord']">

<xsl:template match="*[not(*) and parent:: adrRecord]">

<xsl:template match="*[not(*)][parent:: adrRecord]">
