I might suggest an alternative approach, rather than looking for
the same name badge on a product pair, look for ones which
comply with the W3C recs?

It fits into the 'I want it yesterday' brigade.
A long standing request has been for speed of transformation.
Use case is the busy server dishing up lots of output. 
It also fits into the 'this is interesting' (but not finished) block.
If you like the label 'bleeding edge' then give it a try. 
When our list cynics start to align it with our most compliant
processors, then we can start to have confidence in its ability
to implement the rec fully and in a compliant manner.
