Well call me silly again, but I believe it works with most parser. However, I'll agree with you that it may not work with some parser and that it does work with Saxon (which I'm using). :) Eddy -----Original Message----- From: Ben Robb [mailto:Ben@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, April 04, 2000 11:37 AM To: 'xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: RE: <xsl:choose> <xsl:when> problem > If it works the other way, why bother with the > xsl:text? (I realize I am now an open target for > those people who think its proper syntax.) It works for your particular version of your particular parser. If it is not explicitly spelt out in the spec, then it might not elsewhere - we are trying to avoid tying XSLT to *any* parser/ OS mix...*grin* Ben XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
