[XSL-LIST Mailing List Archive Home] [By Thread] [By Date] [Recent Entries] [Reply To This Message] Dereferencing an XPath variable
I know that the subject is meaningless ;-) Is it possible to write an XSLT template that, matching the following source node <my:A> <my:apply-templates select="<<xpath>>"/> <my:B/> </my:A> calls <xsl:apply-templates select="<<xpath>>"/>? After reading XPath spec carefully I really believe that it is NOT possible. Am I right? Any proposal? Follows a wrong solution (only to explain what I need): <xsl:template match="my:A"> <xsl:variable name="select" select="@select"/> <xsl:apply-templates select="$select"/> </xsl:template> Thanks in advance, C.S.C. -- ----------------------------------------- Real Name: Claudio Sacerdoti Coen Undergraduate Student at cs.unibo.it Address: via del Colle n.6 S.
