I didn't make it to Montreal, but highly recommend Kent's book "Data and
Reality." (You gotta love the title.) Several years ago I bought an old,
used hardcover copy set completely in Courier on the Internet. Since then,
he's made electronic or paperback copies available via
http://www.1stbooks.com/.
