I don't think this is a counter opinion. IMO the view that URIs are 
ambiguous is quite consistent with the view that the offical RFC 2396 
abstract Resources are nothing more than artefacts of one way of 
conceptualizing the web. A legitimate way, certainly, but not the only 
way, and abstract Resources might not play any role in alternatives.
