Location dependant services become more interesting if
one can get to the kind of metadata that really does
personalize. For example, being able to describe
the room ambience and types of pizza such that the
cell phone or pager beeps and says, "you
are 2.2 blocks NW of REALLY GOOD PIZZA!
To proceed, press...." and so on. It's GAYDAR
for the pizza hound so to speak.

Would I use one? No. I don't even have a cell phone.
Nasty things.

I also have some serious doubts that there is much
of a market for stuff like this [and].... the demand for
something like a pizza alert system is really not too high.
