Please elaborate a little on your definition of 
"corpoate owned identity on the net".  I can 
go tangential fast. :-) 

My view is that no company can both sell the 
software that handles the global registry and 
sell the service too.  That isn't a technical 
issue but something like saying a gun manufacturer 
can't field it's own army.  If the Hailstorm 
services depend on Microsoft owned servers, 
it's dead.  They aren't allowed to be a troll 
beneath the bridge.
