Bryan ChartierSubject: unable to use converter

Hello all,
I am brand new and am having issues trying to use the converter. I watched the tutorial, and am able to make custom conversion files.

However, when I try actually converting a document, my newly created custom file does not populate in the custom xml conversion.

Should I be saving the .conv files in a specific location?
Thanks!

Hi Bryan,

Have you set the URL to the .conv file in the converter dialog, like the in the screenshot attached?

No I have not. Would you be able to tell me how to do so?

Thanks!

I assume you have been watching the tutorial at
http://www.stylusstudio.com/videos/convert-to-xml1/convert-to-xml1.html

Starting at minute 8:20, the video shows how to invoke a custom converter. The UI changed slightly, when you click on "XML Custom Converter", you get a property on the right called "Definition URL", just click on the cell, in the column "Value" you will be able to browse for the .conv file.

Does it help?

Thank you very much! I had watched the video you directed to me to many times, but did not identify the browse icon to choose the directory.

Cheers
