Opening from and then Saving to UNC path fails. See attached error during save.
The file was successfully opening from the path \\xxxx-int.com\firm\Development\Enterprise Data\CMIM
(xxxx to obscure our network info, but matches the error).
Other tools such as notepad++ open and save the file without error.
Due to this error I cannot easily use SS to maintain files on our network:(

Hi Bob,
You are reporting version SS2007r2 Build: 894m but the screenshot has been capture on version 2010.
I tried opening a share using full hostname using Windows Explorer and does not seem to work.I will investigate and report what I can find.
Here some possible workarounds tested with Stylus Studio 2010:
Replace the hostname with its IP number
\\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\firm\Development\Enterprise Data\CMIM
If you are connection from a machine in the same sub network you could try to drop the domain suffix
\\xxxx-int\firm\Development\Enterprise Data\CMIM
Hope this helps

I tried dropping the .com, but it is required.

Did you try with the IP number?
to get the IP open a console and type ping <hostname>
C:\>ping www.stylusstudio.com
Pinging stylusstudio.com [69.20.66.163] with 32 bytes of data
Hope this helps

I have not, though this would be really inconvenient.

Any traction on your side to support UNC Paths? This makes the tool unusable without work-arounds...
