Geoffrey NuttingSubject: JVM/stylus studio abort on save
Author: Geoffrey Nutting

Hi,

I'm currently using Stylus Studio Enterprise v2, and if I try do "Save File as" on a document I get an error AGENT_ERROR_TRANSPORT_INIT (197). This also happens when I try to Open a new document. It does not happen if I just 'Save' the document. Needless to say, this has made it pretty impossible to do anything? Have you guys run into similar problems, so you might know what the problem is?

Thanks,

Jeff Nutting

Note:

This problem also occurs when I have no network connectivity. It seems as though I should be able to use SS offline, but it doesn't currently appear that I can.

Hi Jeff,

Try to change the address value under
Tools->Options->Java Virtual Machine->JRE->Parameters

For example

-Xdebug -Xnoagent -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=8888

Hope this helps
