Hi...

I'm trying to use XML Schema as data source and found the repeater won't work. Here's a very simple scenario:

test.xml:
<ROOT>
<LINE>1</LINE>
<LINE>2</LINE>
</ROOT>

test.xsd:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<xs:element name="ROOT">
<xs:complexType>
<xs:sequence>
<xs:element name="LINE" type="xs:string" maxOccurs="unbounded" />
</xs:sequence>
</xs:complexType>
</xs:element>
</xs:schema>

If I add test.xsd as data source and create a repeater by dragging and dropping the LINE tag, the actual generated XSLT code will look like:

<xsl:for-each select="$input1/ROOT/LINE">

This is critical because the XSLT won't work due to $input1 not defined. But if I directly use the test.xml file as data source then there's no problem.

Could you help on this. Thanks in advance.

Hi Vic,
thank you for reporting this problem; a simple workaround is to ensure that the schema is flagged as the default source, by right clicking on the tree node and selecting "Set As Default".

we have logged the bug; however, it hasn't a high priority given the fact that a workaround exists.
