Subject:HTML Tidy adapter is missing? Author:Bill Westrick Date:06 Aug 2007 05:00 PM
Hi, I recently purchased Stylus Studio 2007 XML Enterprise Suite Release 2. One of the features that sold me on this tool was the ability to convert HTML to XML using the XML Pipeline editor. But I seem to be missing this feature in my version. The online documentation shows an HTML Tidy adapter node. (http://www.stylusstudio.com/docs/v2007/d_pipeline32.html)
Is there something I need to do to activate this feature?

Hi, Bill. Sorry for the delay in replying.
Support for HTML Tidy was removed for Release 2. The reference you saw was in the online documentation for the previous release. The documentation for this topic in the current release is here:
We plan to reintroduce support for HTML Tidy in a future release. Meanwhile, you can still convert HTML to XML using the HTML to XML Document Wizard (File > Document Wizards).

Thanks David. At least I'm not crazy then.
The Document Wizard works but I really need to do this in an automated way. Do you know when this might be fixed? And do you have any suggestion as to how to automate this in the mean time?
