Stylus doesn't seem to really care or support namespace specific matching.

Does it ?

No, not at the moment. As input into future versions, what are you trying to do, and with what XSL/XPath?

Well, if I try to match nodes called 'image', Stylus will match every image node even rdf:image when rdf is not the default namespace.

Can you send me a stylesheet and xml file? I'd like to explore how your stylesheet is processed in the current build of eXcelon.

This would be my number one priority as it means that I have to change the stylesheet when I come to use a command line supported xsl tool such as xt that does support namespaces. This means that all the nice things from stylus such as the editing and checking.
